1. Services
Ghostiq currently provides an AI writing detector and an AI text humanizer. The detector returns an automated estimate and flagged passages. The humanizer returns an edited version of text submitted by the user. Features and availability may change.
2. Prohibited Uses & Integrity Compliance
Users agree to utilize Ghostiq strictly in compliance with applicable law, academic integrity codes, and institutional honor systems. Specifically:
- Prohibition of Fraudulent Submissions: You agree NOT to use the service for fraudulent contract-cheating assignments, paying third parties to submit deceptive schoolwork, or misrepresenting authorial origination where institutional regulations prohibit AI-assisted editing.
- Prohibition of Impersonation: You agree NOT to use the platform for unlawful impersonation, forging professional identities, defamatory publishing, or generating deceptive synthetic documentation.
- User Accountability: Users retain complete editorial oversight and sole responsibility for all content finalized, cited, and distributed through our tools.
3. Accuracy and third-party services
AI detection results are estimates, can be wrong, and are not proof of authorship or misconduct. A rewrite does not guarantee a particular result from another detector. The tools rely on third-party processing providers; see the privacy policy for current details. Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
